Hi Terrence,

I recently purchased one of your portable tap floors to give to my daughter for her birthday and she absolutely loves it!

It’s the perfect size for her room and the sound is amazing. You really have a great quality product at a great price.

Thank you!

Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Aftermath Photo Courtesy of ABC News

Over the last few weeks my heart has ached for the people of Japan who, as you know, have had to endure a tremendously powerful earthquake followed by a deadly Tsunami that claimed thousands upon thousands of lives.

Not to mention, having to face the very real possibility of a radioactive meltdown at some of Japan’s nuclear power plants.

In the face of so much suffering, it is tempting to throw your hands up and give into despair. But instead, I have chosen to do what I can to help, however small my actions may seem in the face of so much pain.

Here is where you and I can work together to help:

If you use coupon code HELPJAPAN when you order a Portable Tap Floor, I’ll donate $10 of your purchase to American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief. The coupon will also take $10 off your order.

If you like you can also choose to donate $19 to Japan relief and receive a $1 discount on your floor with alternative coupon code ALLFORJAPAN.

If you’re not able to purchase a floor right now I encourage you to make a donation, however small, to the charity of your choice in support of the Japanese people.

These coupon codes will expire on April 5th.

The Tap Floor as a Home Aerobics Floor That Stops Shin Splints?

Well it looks like there is more than one way to protect a knee when you’re talking about portable tap floors!

Apparently, the shock absorbing qualities of our tap floors are good for more than just tap dancing.
I was recently contacted by a young lady who wondered if she could use our product as a home aerobics floor.

I honestly had never even considered it!

We decided to work together to test it out and today she was kind enough to send me her final review of the floor. Here are her comments (with added emphasis):

I have been doing Tracy Anderson’s 30 Day Method. She recommends that you do her cardio routine on a wooden floor as it involves a lot of dancing and jumping. She stated in her book that one of the typical problems with doing the dance part was shin splints.

I’ve been a runner most of my life and did not get them until I started this routine. I searched the internet and found Terrence Taps dancing boards. I ordered a large one to do her routine on.

What a difference!

It was perfect for doing her dance routine which involves a lot of jumping. No more shin splints! I highly recommend this board to anyone doing any type of dance or cardio.

It made a huge difference for me.

-Cindy E. of Orlando, FL

So apparently the portable tap floor is also a portable wooden aerobics floor!
